Conocephalus spartinae - male

Conocephalus spartinae - Male
Scarborough, Cumberland County, Maine, USA
August 27, 2014
I found many of these calling in a salt marsh. A few Conocephalus brevipennis were calling nearby (but not in the marsh itself), so it was easy to hear the distinct differences in their songs.

Very cool find!
Wow! Great new addition to Bug Guide and super documentation of it, too. Congratulations on the find.
