How long has it been since this weevil has been seen?

I don't know
I think the other photo just happens to be of an old specimen, not necessarily reflective of anything in particular though; I imagine its an uncommon species.

Kyle picked up the most photogenic specimen in the tray, i guess
not the most recently collected

I found one other photo last night-this morning. It was preserved, but a nice image. I will see if I can find another one , Brad of course has dibs on this one.
