Sawfly ID - Pristiphora rufipes
Richmond, British Columbia, Canada
September 6, 2003
Size: 12mm
These sawfly larvae devastated my columbine leaves.
I took them indoors and they pupated and eclosed.
Only know it is a sawfly, but can't pinpoint the
exact ID.

The larvae were found on 6th Sept, 2003.
2 pupated on 8th Sept, 2003.
First one eclosed on 24 Sept, 2003.

It might be a good idea..
...to put a date to each image. If you're worried that the timing might be "unnatural" because it was reared in captivity, the dates could be put in the Remarks section rather than the date field.
