Tenthredinidae, Nematinae
Pristiphora rufipes Serville, the "columbine sawfly". This has been known as Pristiphora aquilegiae, but the correct name is P. rufipes. Introduced from Europe, first recorded on Ontario in the 1960's and has spread throughout eastern N. Amer. More recently found in Washington State and BC. Can be qu9ite destructive to columbine.
