Manduca florestan or Ceratomia sonorensis ? - Manduca florestan

Moved- Manduca florestan
Moved from Sphingini.

This is Manduca florestan. While Bruce's key is a good side by side comparison, those streaks are present in the M. florestan as well, just not so well developed.

Additionally, the greenish cast to the thorax, along with various other characters present in this worn individual represent M. florestan.

Thanks, Ryan!

Next time I'll shoot the back wings too
As for the greenish cast: I try to shade my subjects from the MV light, but it often causes a greenish cast. But I've been looking at my other specimens and you are right

Right
The (natural) odd greenish blue coloration of M. florestan is fairly distinct in this photo.

Not sure
According to B. Walsh, M. florestan doesn't have the forewing streaks that yours has. Both species appear to have them on MPG. I'd go with Bruce's key, if it were mine. Moths of Southeastern Arizona
