Sciota subfuscella

Sciota subfuscella
Karnack, Harrison County, Texas, USA
September 1, 2014
Although I can't be entirely sure as I kept finding pupae in this colony and rapidly ran out of individual space to house them all I believe this is the resulting adult. The larva pupated shortly after being photographed (pupating in frass and spent host plant leaves), the adult emerged the evening of 09/01.

Host plant?
This is a good match to the description in Neunzig's MONA fascicle (2003, p. 120)(1) and the illustrations on MPG. Neunzig mentions sumacs (Rhus spp.) as the host plant for the species. What were yours feeding on?
