Gelechiidae? Gelechiidae?

Moved from Scavenger Moths.

Moved from Flower Moths. I noticed this among the unsorted Scythrididae and had the same thought as Steve. Looks just like two individuals I photographed in 2015. Unfortunately, that was before I began collecting, and I haven't seen one since. I'm just not on island late enough, judging by our three observation dates.

Still not sure
Terry hasn't responded and Kyhl may have misidentified your example. I guess the jury is still out.

Let’s hope I can collect one!
I think my example looks more like a blastobasid based on its stance, but I’m not 100% convinced. I waffled a bit before moving this, but at least all the images are in the same place for the time being.

Moved from ID Request.

This looks to be a scythridid. There is no good match for it in Landry's paper. There are many undescribed spp. in this group.

Why isn't this in Blastobasidae?
