Bee Fly on Woodland Sunflower - Sparnopolius confusus - Female

Size: Flower about 2" wide
This fly is on Woodland Sunflower (Helianthus divaricatus). I have noticed that most species that pollinate this flower are flies. How can I tell which type of bee fly this is?

Ron is correct, the wing veins are quite important in identifying these. my guess is Sparnopolius confusus, but i would wait for a more informed opinion... a female i believe.
