Photo Usage Request
Hello Dr. Richards,

My name is Chao Wu and I am an undergraduate biology/pre-med student at Boston University. I'm requesting for the use of this photo.

For one of my courses, we are asked to write a research proposal involving ethology. My group has decided to use the H. carolinensis as our model organism. We will focus on manipulation of ventral leg banding to observe whether such alterations will affect female mate preference. While I understand your focus is mostly on Lepidopterans, the clarity of your wolf spider image is quite astounding and reasonable for us to use and manipulate to express how we will approach our treatments. However, this is merely a proposal for a class and we will not actually be performing the experiment itself!!!

I hope you will give us permission to use/manipulate your image for our experiment proposal and presentation! It would be of great help!

Best regards,

Chao
