Hyperstrotia flaviguttata

Hyperstrotia flaviguttata
Karnack, Harrison County, Texas, USA
August 26, 2014
Size: 22.5mm
Final instar six days after preceding molt. In my experience they pupate within a couple of days of molting to the final instar but this one seemed unimpressed with the pupation options and so it lingered over a week.
