It appears to be some sort of planthopper (superfamily Fulgoroidea). Not an expert but it looks similar to this tribe: http://bugguide.net/node/view/865858/bgpage

Rhynchomitra sp.. Not microrhina, yours is the snub-nosed one (though maybe there is a Florida specialty I'm not familiar with)
