Valtissius diversus (Distant), male
ID confirmed from specimen, now a photo-voucher. Thanks Iustin.

I'm not sure whether this should be Valtissius diversus (Distant) or Valtissius distinctus (Distant). I see both names being used, presumably for the same insect.

diversus sounds correct
check this -- distinctus seems to be extralimital and in any case junior
