Small Leafhopper - Exitianus exitiosus

Small Leafhopper - Exitianus exitiosus
Springfield, Virginia, USA
October 29, 2004
With the all the recent identifications of leafhoppers, I thought I would post a few more. This one is only a couple of mm in length, and the wings were very shiny. Any info is appreciated.

Exitianus exitiosus
This is a common "tramp" species ... it breeds on any available grass, then flies off to find whatever is available, always choosing the most succulent growth.
