MOTH ID
After much study, I believe this is a female Carmenta tecta image. The larvae feeds on mistletoe.The females of most of these southeastern AZ sesiid moths are not very well known.

We don't know if Dr Taft will find the images here or not.
If you don't get an ID in a couple of days, just move the images to Sesioidea where he definitely looks.
