A new suggestion
Somehow I stumbled into the Mimorista pages and discovered this contentious post: From what I learned last December I conclude that this photo actually shows Nacoleia charesalis. Maybe someone can move the image to its rightful home.

Good eye
Thanks for catching this. Carol Wolfe's image on MPG must be this species as well.

Carol Wolf's photo should stay
Kyhl, the ID for Carol Wolf's photo actually was provided by James Hayden who is a Nacoleia charesalis expert.
Edit: I was referring to Carol Wolf's photo on the BugGuide page. I think you meant one of hers on MPG that looks somewhat similar to Nacoleia charesalis but abdomen pattern as well as wing lines and markings are not right for it and more consistent with those on the Mimorista.

Wow, Kyhl, what an interesting placement of what must be a very worn specimen. Looks like you are right. The Mimoristas seem to be difficult.

Gregory's moth is very similar to Carol Wolf's example
on MPG here.

Gregory, I agree with Tom, it surely looks like to me, but I am not confident enough to move it to species.

Also, it looks like you posted two pictures of the same moth, so I would you please delete the duplicate.

Maybe something like...
...Blepharomastix ranalis - Hollow-spotted Blepharomastix. If so, would be a first BG record for Florida.
