Dung beetle - Aphodius fimetarius - Male
Tippecanoe County, Indiana, USA

Size: 7 mm
Aphodius fimetarius. This one was dangling from the bottom of a spider web. Lucky for me I found it when I did; unlucky for the spider.

a European sp. - there are a couple of other somewhat similarly colored species out there as well. Nice addition
