Solenopsis
Looks like a Solenopsis sp. to me. Would probably need a full-face shot showing the cylpeus to say what species.

Probably S*invicta
Appears to be the red imported fire ant, based on the shape of the underside of the petiole, but yes, a face view would clinch it.
