Size: ~20-25mm
Rescued from rain barrel where it was struggling. When it dried itself off, placed near weed debris pile which it immediately crawled under.

Sorry for the premature move; I was about to make a comment on the size and then I remembered this TX subspecies :)

Moved from Onthophagus.

 
Now to find a male...
Thanks so much, even with the little reference to TX size :)

Looked through all the dung beetles, except Rainbow, as it didn't look very "rainbow-y".

The male really looks neat - need to find some mammalian dung now, or hope that one drops into a rain barrel.
