Side view showing the same hook structures, as well as a much less visible ventral "rudder" ... or what appears to be a stump. It had no suction pad, but was used somewhat like a foot. A little glint of light has been reflected by this stump in the image.

Same individual. There are at least two of these larvae in the relatively small bracket, but there could be one or two more which I didn't expose. Rather strange-looking inards ... what exactly are they?

Was going through some old pics from a trip to S. Texas. Don't really remember this spider per se. Sorry about the poor quality. Can anybody do anything with this? Feel free to frass this.
