Tylonotus bimaculatus Victoria, Victoria County, Texas, USA June 17, 2012
The insect is alive. I did the photo during night time using flash.
Insect was in a position where was very difficult to shooting. How it seem to sit without moving, I put it on a sheet of paper, that I can take photos. It was not a very good idea. I could do only two pictures and it left.

Unknown worm/caterpillar/slug - Ascia monuste LaBelle, Hendry County, Florida, USA December 15, 2012 Size: 1 inch long
I found several of these on my tomato plants and around the irrigation pump. Cutworms and caterpillars are common in my area but I have never seen one of these. They are normally in shaded areas such as the canopy of the plants. Any help with identifying this would be greatly appreciated.
