I've been seeing a lot of sulphurs out recently and I was curious... is this is an orange sulphur, and if so, what identifiers can be used to confirm that?

Ground nesting bee or wasp? - Tachytes
Ground nesting bee or wasp? - Tachytes

Size: 0.75 mm diameter, approx.
I first noticed the burrow entrance several days before taking this photo. There was a small "volcano" of soil built up evenly around the perimeter of the burrow, to a height of about 1". The burrow diameter was about equal to the diameter of a standard pencil. This particular morning, I noticed the insect in the hole starting to emerge as I walked by. The head of the insect completely filled the tunnel. It backed down the tunnel upon seeing me, so I grabbed my camera and got this shot as it emerged. It flew rapidly away and I didn't get a further look at it. Two days later, the burrow entrance had been neatly plugged, erasing most of the "volcano".
