I am a nature photographer, speaker, writer, naturalist, and researcher. My husband and I live on a 40-acre parcel of land that is adjacent to a 2,500-acre Wisconsin State Wildlife Area. Our property is protected from any future development because we have a conservation easement with the Door Co. Land Trust that prohibits such activity now or in the future. I have photographed and researched insects in the area since 1990, with an emphasis on moths. I have reared larvae and observed many new host plants. As of Nov. 2007, I have over 129 Door Co. moth records, which are documented with the State. I have been editor of the "Wisconsin Entomological Society Newsletter" since 1999.
