We need more active editors at Bugguide. If you are knowledgeable about a group and interested in helping out, email John Van Dyke and express your interest and give info about your background. Chances are good he will give you editor status and you can start moving images on the site and creating pages.
The images are piling up here...

I'm a mostly self-taught carabid specialist, but I have a broad interest in invertebrates and natural history as a whole. I've recently started focusing on Staphylinids as well, especially smaller litter-dwelling species.

One project of mine is determining the diversity and distribution of Virginia and West Virginia's Anilline species.

I don't subscribe to most images I comment on or move, so feel free to email me if I don't respond to comments on this site.

Good advice:

"Please don't lose your sense of wonder and curiosity,
or your ability to be amazed and surprised."

"Berlese the crap out of it."
