Biography:

I am currently a US Army Entomologist. Previously I was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Kentucky working on the community effects of facultative aphid endosymbionts. I received my Ph.D in entomology at Texas A&M University in 2014. My dissertation focused on community and nutritional ecology of grasshoppers. I received my bachelors from UTEP where I worked on various projects at the Indio Mountains research station and a taxonomic revision of the South American ant genus Dinoponera. I am originally from El Paso, Texas.
