Biography:

I am an avid birder, herper, and very into Odes/Leps but just beginning the journey into Moths due to my friends, Dr. Chuck Sexton, John and Kendra Abbott and Jim and Lynne Webber having pushed me somewhat into moths and insects. I live in a very understudied area because while Big Bend National Park and other areas have been heavily studied, I am the first birder, etc. to live in Sanderson. I began putting out a UVA/UVB Bulb and Black light on a few nights and was frankly overwhelmed some evenings. My home and the nearby Stripes convenient store tend to have quite a few moths on good nights.

I am a wildlife/landscape photographer and my full-time job is the Supervisor of the Judge Roy Bean Visitor Center in Langtry, Texas where I will also be posting observations.
