Biography:

I am an amateur photographer who has become fascinated with insects and other small creatures. I’m learning about my subjects thanks to bugguide and all the folks here. I have been photographing bugs since the summer of ’04 and found it to be a nice way to spend my time. Most of them are shot in my yard and nearby places in Georgia.

Most of the bug shots were made with a Canon 10D or a 300D with a variety of lens setups. Right now, I'm using mainly a Canon 100mm Macro, Canon 180mm Macro and Canon MP-E65mm f/2.8 1-5X Macro. I use a Canon MT24-EX flash for most of the shots.
