Biography:

I'm a hobby photographer from the Netherlands (Europe), mainly interested in butterflies, moths and plants. I've travelled to the USA twice and, coming from a country where every square meter of nature is well documented and finding something new is nearly impossible, these trips were probably the best two months of my life when it comes to discovering and photographing nature.

I'm very thankful to everyone who helps me with IDing specimens. I also try to add some new information to BugGuide by uploading pictures of species that don't have a lot of photos yet, or to have the species represented in new states.
