Biography:

Grew up in Iowa & Colorado. Schooled at CSU in Ft. Collins. Majored in entomology, but career is in botany. Very interested in phylogeny, taxonomy, and just learning more about insects and plants. Especially interested in Acridoideae, particularly Oedipodinae, and in many groups of Lepidoptera. However, all arthropods are fascinating to me, and it's hard to list all the genera and species that might catch my fancy.

Currently a curator at the Rio Grande Botanic Garden in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
