Biography:

I am an amateur naturalist living in Florida. My interest in nature started with monarch butterfly tagging and bird watching, but now I love all life, particularly "bugs". I enjoy macrophotography and share my scientifically interesting photos here. I believe citizen science is an excelent way to advance not only scientific knowledge, but also biological conservation and environmental justice. I mainly give IDs on Hymenoptera (generally Polistes and Anthophila) and Florida insects, but I'll post all sorts of Arthropods. I also contribute to iNaturalist, eBird, and Bumble Bee Watch.
