Biography:

UC Davis graduate, Lifelong naturalist interested in Lepidoptera and particularly moths of Southern California. I have an extensive set of moth photographs from mostly Southern California and enjoy the incredible diversity of insects in the Pacific Coast region. I am a licensed Engineering Geologist in the State of California and own a engineering consulting firm in Southern California. I spent many years collecting marine invertebrate fossils from the Upper Cretaceous of California- another passion of mine. I having been an active trail maintenance volunteer for many years in maintaining the trails in the San Mateo Wilderness of the Cleveland National Forest alongside a great batch of dedicated crew comprised of both working and retired, all whom enjoy working for free!!
