Biography:

We are both retired - Libby is a former planner and Rick a former college instructor (math & physics) We have had a life long interest in all aspects of natural history. Rick is a very keen amateur botanist. He also started taking insect photos a few years ago. Since 2007 have spent an increasing amount of time on this, with particular emphasis on moths. I have spent many happy hours on the web doing ID - have found Bug Guide, USDA, CBI & MPG sites extremely helpful, but I owe a particular debt of gratitude to John Davis's images! Libby Avis
