Full name:
Nathan Cottrell

I have a B.S. in Biology, with an emphasis in invertebrates and ecology.

I also have an M.S. in entomology from Michigan State University where I took adult and immature insect systematics.

After this, I worked for NIH as an entomologist for 1 year, then for USDA ARS as an entomologist for 4 years. I currently work as an entomologist for USDA APHIS where I have worked for the past year and a half doing strictly identification of insects.

My specialty is weevils in the family Dryophthoridae (also considered by some to be sub-family Dryophthorinae and OLD name Rhynchophorinae).
