Biography:

Collection manager of Entomology at the California Academy of Sciences. Assistant Secretary and Asst. Treasurer of The Lepidopterists' Society.

Have previously worked on the Microgastrinae subfamily of Braconids in the Whitfield Lab at the University of Illinois (specifically the rare genus Distatrix).

General specialty in microlepidoptera of the SW, especially the Crambidae genus Hemiplatytes - among other lep side projects.
