Biography:

I am a Parks Canada heritage interpreter (aka naturalist or "ranger".)
I am an avid photographer, but I also collect and do some research on Odonata, Butterflies, Orthoptera and certain Coleoptera, especially Coccinellidae and Cicindelinae, Cerambycidae and just getting into Elateridae and Cleridae. More recently, I have developed an inordinate fondness for Hymenoptera and Diptera, especially Bumblebees and Eumenine wasps in the Hymenoptera and Syrphidae and Asilidae in the Diptera.
