Hello my name is Jason. I am 28 (Born 08/24/80) and am originally from Northern Virginia. (Got some pics from there in here to.) I now live in Seminole County, Altamonte Springs, Florida. (For those of you that don't know where that is, Right smack dabb in the middle (or about 1/2 an hour from Orlando). I have been taking picture of bugs for years, but never really tried to identify them until now. If there was a cool looking bug I would snap a few shots of it. Well, It has become much more than that. Now me and my wife Jen make trips out to such places as Leu Botanical Gardens and Bok Tower specifically to go on bug hunts. I love it. It just makes my day to get a few shots of our little friends. IF anyone is in the Central Florida area and wants to get together for a Bug Hunt email us. It would be a lot of fun.

Check out some of my scribbles. I love to write; I hope that you will love the read. All comments welcome.

Some of my shots.
I use the Canon EOS Digitall Rebel 6.1 Megapixel. I use the Sigma 105mm Macro. Not a bad lens, but my next step is the Canon 65mm 1-5x macro.

I am currently attending my second year at Seminole County Community College working on a degree in Secondary Education Biology, and will soon transfer to UF to finish my BA and then work towards a Masters in Entomology. I would like to specialize in the Family Coccinellidae.
