Biography:

BSc biology, some grad school. a "bird guy," have worked primarily with birds, their habitats and ecology, esp. using GIS technology for remote sensing and mapping of habitats. got interested in butterflies and odonates, and more recently moths. when i'm not trying to photograph, learn more or write about these things, i'm into creating/enhancing habitat for 'em.
