Biography:

My name, Siobhan, is Gaelic (Irish) for Joan and is pronounced Shivon.

I grew up in a Boston, Massachusetts suburb. My home was near a small pond and I spent much of my youth exploring its shores, discovering all kinds of interesting animals and learning as much as I could about them.

I love being outdoors and enjoy learning about new animal and plant species, many of which I have discovered in my yard in New Hampshire.

My flickr site illustrates some of my wildlife encounters. I respect all wildlife and keep the wellbeing of animals in mind when photographing them.
