I've been fascinated by bugs since I was a kid but unfortunately listened to my parents and went into something other than one of the natural sciences. I recently rekindled my interest in bugs and have since been trying to identify everything that I can photograph.

I've considered myself more of an all-around naturalist. That leaves me to date without any strong knowledge of any one insect group but am trying to learn a bit about all of them. I spend most Friday nights parked at a UV light somewhere in Southern California and am slowly bettering my identifications skills.
