Biography:

I am a father of three, grandfather of eight, former Biology teacher and have been a collector since childhood. I began collecting in earnest about five years ago thanks to some incentive from various entomologists from Cornell University.
I have donated 23 filled drawers to my alma mater. Wherever I travel I bring my equipment. I’ve collected in FL, SC, AZ, ME and VA in the US and Brazil and Senegal overseas.

In addition to collecting I have participated in tagging with monarchwatch.org, attended various events sponsored by the folks at Cornell such as Moth Week and joined the bugguide gathering in VA.

I still have a lot to learn and am grateful for the advise I received from Mike Quinn, Art Evans and others who I met at the 2014 gathering in Virginia.
