Nick Richter

I am a laboratory analyst with FDA in Irvine, CA. My specialty is finding extraneous materials (insects, hairs, glass, fecal material) in food. In my spare time, I love to get outdoors and just walk around looking for things to photograph that interest me. Lately this has been insects and spiders. I recently purchased 2 excellent new Canon macro lenses which are helping me realize my long-held dream of macrophotography. I have also done photography of wild birds and mammals. I completed the coursework for a master's degree in entomology in 1985.
