Biography:

Hi! My name is Helena Shaverdo. I am from Belarus but I live in Vienna, Austria. I have been studying the diving beetles (Dytiscidae) since 1992. One year (2002-2003) I spent in Canada dealing with Nearctic dytiscids.
I am married and have two small daughters. They are three and one years old, therefore, at present, I have to stay at home with them. I miss my beetles very much and will be happy to take part in the "BugGuide".
