Biography:

I am pursuing a Ph.D in Entomology at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. I completed my B.S. in Biology at Saginaw Valley State University, MI in 2012, and my M.S. in Biology at Wichita State University, KS in 2014. My research interests include systematics, phylogeography, and ecology of scarab beetles and fireflies.

For my Ph.D. I am studying the taxonomy, phylogeography, and biogeography of fireflies in the genus Robopus (Coleoptera: Lampyridae) using molecular and morphological analyses under the tutelage of Dr. Marc Branham.
