I'm an entomologist at the Mississippi Entomological Museum, based in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
As a taxonomist/systematist, I research arthropod diversity, evolution, and natural history. Although I am trained as an acarologist, my interests are broad and current projects involve velvet mites and water mites (Parasitengona), spiders, grasshoppers, aquatic insects, ants, and more broadly, Ozark biodiversity.
I am in need of velvet mite specimens from many regions, so if you find some and wish to help out, please let me know.
