Biography:

I started collecting butterflies and moths in the 1960s, when I was about 11 years old. My interest in insect collecting was renewed in the mid-eighties when I took a course in Entomology at Cornell, which was great fun. Most of my "collecting" these days is done through a lens.

I'm shooting with a Nikon D200 with a 60 mm macro lens. Sometimes I use the built-in flash. The raw images are processed in Photoshop.
