gained an affection for spiders when I lived in the central texas area...moved back to west texas (midland), not as many spiders here, but I do try to photograph ones that aren't wolf spiders or black widows.

As a graphic designer and visually creative person, I am just amazed at how our Creator has given spiders such a great variety in shape, size, pattern and color. I really enjoy photographing spiders for visual reference...I'm not much interested in collecting them or looking at their genitalia - even though they totally fascinate me, they do creep me out a bit, so I'd rather just let them alone and photograph them in their natural habitat.
