Full name:
Terri Fricker

Biography:

I have become fascinated with the insects in my tiny garden. I read books about vegetable gardening and planted a small one of my own. Once I was all done with the planning and the digging and the planting, I needed something else to learn about. My neighbor went from calling me 'a gopher' to the 'bug lady' because he often saw me outside sitting in one place watching the insects. So I've read some insect books and am ready to try to identify the insects that I have seen for the first time in my yard.

I'm a stay at home mom that used to teach high school physics and physical sciences. I have a bachelor's degree in Physics, but I haven't had any training in the life sciences past high school biology.
