Biography:

Professor Emeritus of Entomology, Clemson University, Coastal Research and Education Center (CREC), 2700 Savannah Hwy, Charleston, SC. Former Director of CREC, Head of the Entomology Department at the International Rice Reseach Institute. Vice President of the Carolina Gold Rice Foundation, Chairman of the Agriculture Committee for the Agricultural Society of South Carolina, directed the Ph.D./M.S. programs for 25 graduate students. Field of interest: Biological control of insects, integrated pest management and insect pollinators. Published over 160 refereed papers and 7 books.
