Biography:

Cindy Hopkins is a wildlife biologist and naturalist, living and working in the Mojave Desert region. She is interested in all things natural, with a particular focus on invertebrates. She spends her free time in her yard, which she and her husband have been landscaping for native plants and the local fauna. In addition, she enjoys hiking, backpacking, and outdoors photography. She and her husband work as a biological consulting team, Xeric Specialties .
