Biography:

I am a retired 8th grade physical science and 7th grade life science teacher. I do some substitute teaching in elementary schools now.
We have a lovely 54 acre Wildwood Park in Radford, VA, where I enjoy hunting with my digital camera. I decided in 2009 that I wanted to photograph and identify as much as possible of the flora and fauna of the park, and that has led me on an exciting journey of becoming acquainted with the wonders of nature and also with many folks who share the desire to know about all creatures great and small.
