Biography:



Amateur naturalist, mostly interested in "weeds", (they stand still for you to ID). Got hooked on bugs through WhatsThatBug.com which led me here.

I'm having a blast finding out what all the bugs that I had previously ignored are.

I'm a (currently inactive) volunteer EMT (ambulance driver) which, granted, doesn't have much to do with bugs (but I'm excellent at the credit-card method of bee stinger removal).

I'm also a stay-at-home mom to 4 kids, and have found studying nature an excellent hobby for all that time spent standing around playgrounds "watching" the kids.
